BUSKING
Busking means to entertain people in a public place, it includes dancing, singing and many other different art forms. For hundreds of years, buskers have entertained the public in hopes of earning money, food, drinks, and other gifts from passersby.
"Busker's are the producers of sidewalk melodies while painting beautiful cityscapes."
WHY BUSKING?
For Artists:
Busking is a tool for artists to sharpen their skills. On the streets, you get to really see the raw reactions of the audience, and most
musicians find that more rewarding.
Busking helps an artist to reach out to audiences at grass root level and gather a very diverse fanbase. There is a unique interrelation between buskers and fans that occurs only in the streets, with no security staff, no VIP seats, or entry fee.
For Society:
Buskers bring diverse art, music, and entertainment to public spaces, enriching a community’s cultural vibrancy. Exposure to various artistic expressions fosters inclusivity and open-mindedness.

Traditional and folk performances are often part of busking, helping to preserve cultural heritage by introducing newer generations to traditional music, dance, and other art forms.
Buskers can transform empty or underutilized public spaces into lively, engaging areas, adding a human touch to the urban landscape and enhancing the city’s atmosphere.
Busking also encourages spontaneous engagement with art. Passersby may unexpectedly encounter a performance, sparking curiosity, creativity, and a deeper appreciation for the arts.
